Dear colleagues, guests, educational partners,

Between 12-15 June 2025, in Poiana Brașov, Brașov County, Romania, we organized the first large-scale event of our association. We had the honor of hosting over 300 participants during the 16 sessions dedicated to the integrated approach of the child, adolescent, and young adult.

More than 80 national speakers and 17 international speakers from the USA, Chile, UK, Israel, France, Spain, Portugal, Germany, and Sweden contributed to the scientific success of the event.

The event brought together specialists from fields such as pediatric orthopaedics, adult orthopaedics, medical rehabilitation, paediatrics, paediatric neurology, family medicine, neuro-orthopaedics, and physiotherapy.

Since one of our core values is integrative medicine, the program included both medical sessions and theoretical and practical sessions for physiotherapists, under the guidance of Mrs. Daniela Stanca – President of the Romanian College of Physiotherapists and Mr. Bogdan Goga, PT.

On this occasion, for the first time in AOTP’s history, we awarded the Honorary Diploma and the title of Lifetime Honorary Member to Prof. Dr. Vincent Mosca. Furthermore, on the last day, during the commemorative session „Paediatric Orthopaedics – Then and Now„, we presented the Diploma for Outstanding Contributions to Paediatric Orthopaedics to Prof. Dr. Mihail Jianu, who thus becomes a Lifetime Meritorious Member of our association.

The event was a success – thanks to you: our participants, guests, and educational partners.

We look to the future with confidence, continuing to build the present with responsibility and seizing the great opportunities to improve the quality of life for children with orthopaedic conditions.
